Birthdate: Sept 25th, 1980
My name is Geoff Weers, I sing and play guitar for The Expendables. I started playing guitar in the 7th grade. I took lessons from my older sister's boyfriend. He was in a band at the time called Unsound and I got to watch them practice in their drummer's garage. That was what really got me hooked on being in a band and jamming with my friends. When I got into high school I joined the school's jazz band and the Concert Choir. During the first couple years of high school, I jammed out with a group called Beyond Seven. I must say we ripped. I don't want to toot my own horn but Beyond Seven would have been huge if our drummer didn't get his fingers ripped off in a heated masturbation accident. Don't ask. During my junior year I was asked to play with Raul, Adam, Kevin and Cam after I came up with their band name The Expendables. We have been jamming ever since.
On stage I use Marshall JCM2000 TSL60 head through a Marshall 1960 4X12 cab. My main axe is a 1993 Gibson Explorer, my back up axe is a 1998 USA Fender Big Apple. My other axe is too dangerous to mention on the internet. I don't want to get arrested for the amount of slaying it has done in the past.
